Working on the Weekend

Are you  wanting to grow your business? Don't waste the weekend.  Did you know they total 102 of the year's 365 days? You may be saying, "I need a break. I don't want to work 7 days a week." Here are some ideas on how to make your weekend work for your business:

Weekly Planning Meeting
Sit down over the weekend to review your priorities for the upcoming week. For a great example meeting agenda check out my favorite business coach Michelle Pippin.
There are many ideas of this concept so find a system that works for you. I like to do my meeting on Sunday nights as Michelle suggests.

Power of Positive Thoughts
So make up your mind what it is that you truly want to achieve in your business, or your life. Stop settling for less than you want/deserve. Life is meant to be abundant and joyful. Start visualizing daily. Remember that our life is a reflection of what we have thought.

Let it Go & Let it Grow
Your business isn't you. Whether you're the CEO of a Fortune 100 company, or a proud 1-person graphic designer, your business is not you.
Unless you force it to be you.
You can so identify with your business that you corral it, constrain it, restrict it - to being you: no stronger than your strengths, no bigger than your vision, no reach beyond your grasp.
Or you can let it go. Let your business breathe. Let it bloom. Let it expand to its natural, organic size, strength and reach. Let it be more than you. If you choose.
It's very, very hard to do that during the week when the pace is relentless and you need to act without time to think. It's easier to release on the weekend. Choose this time to let your business go. Let it grow while you prepare for your upcoming week in a positive way.
